FAQ

TUCC | Lone Tree FAQs

Your primary doctor will likely refer you to a urologist for any specialized care. However, you should see a urologist if you suffer from any symptoms related to your bladder, kidneys, adrenal glands, or genitourinary system.

Our doctors will thoroughly explain what to expect with any treatment or procedure. Your comfort is paramount to what we do at TUCC. We strive to ensure that our procedures are performed with innovative techniques that make our patients as comfortable as possible.

You can reduce your risk of experiencing urological problems by maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, avoiding tobacco products, and limiting caffeine and alcohol. However, it is essential to remember that not all urological issues can be prevented.

Our experts will help you understand your coverage, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses before every procedure.

All urologists must complete four years of medical school and a minimum of two years of general surgical training. This standard is followed by four years of specific training in their urological specialty. As a result, the doctors at TUCC are often the most trained, experienced, and highly skilled in Colorado.

Urological treatment is not just for men. While urologists treat many conditions specific to men—such as prostate cancer and erectile dysfunction—urologists at TUCC also treat a range of conditions specific to women. This includes urinary tract infections (UTI) and conditions related to bladder health and vaginal health.

We’re here to help.
