Jamie Peterson, MPH, RN
Jamie Peterson, MPH, RN, serves as TUCC’s advanced prostate cancer nurse navigator. She works with our advanced prostate cancer patients to help them access care and community services.
Jamie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human development and family studies from the University of Vermont. She then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore. In addition, Jamie has a Master of Public Health degree, with a concentration in community and behavioral health, from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Public Health.
Prior to joining the TUCC clinical team, Jamie worked as a nurse in a variety of clinical settings including an oncology and bone marrow transplant ward, the emergency room and in solid organ transplant. For the past five years, Jamie worked at the VA Hospital in Denver as a research nurse doing symptom management and care coordination for individuals with heart failure and counseling individuals on quitting smoking.
