
Lawrence Karsh, M.D., F.A.C.S.
As a clinical professor of surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and assistant clinical professor of surgery and urology with the St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency program, Lawrence Karsh, M.D., is dedicated to educating future physicians in addition to providing patients with advanced urologic care.
Dr. Karsh received a B.A. degree in English from the University of Colorado before obtaining his medical doctorate from Chicago Medical School. He then completed a surgical internship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Karsh completed his residency training in urological surgery at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining TUCC, he practiced with Western Urologic Associates.
At TUCC, Dr. Karsh serves as the director of our clinical research center. He specializes in prostate disease, brachytherapy, minimally invasive prostate surgery, genitourinary cancer, urinary incontinence, vasectomy and vasectomy reversals, bladder augmentation and continent urinary diversion. He is also fluent in Spanish.
