
Stephen Ruyle, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Stephen Ruyle, M.D., specializes in laparoscopic radical prostatectomy with daVinci Robot, neurogenic bladder, prostate and bladder cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and kidney stone disease.
Dr. Ruyle received a B.A. degree with distinction in molecular biology from the University of Colorado. He received his medical doctorate, with honors, from Dartmouth Medical School. Dr. Ruyle then completed an internship in general surgery at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. He was a staff emergency room attending physician at St. John's Hospital in Lowell, Massachusetts before completing his residency at the Harvard/Longwood Area Urology Program.
Before joining TUCC, Dr. Ruyle practiced at Colorado Urology Associates for 15 years. During that time, he served as a clinical consultant for the University of Colorado and as chief of urology at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver. He also served as president of the Rocky Mountain Kidney Stone Center for four years.
Dr. Ruyle is a member of several professional organizations including, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, American Lithotripsy Society, American Urological Association, Colorado Medical Society, Denver Medical Society, Rocky Mountain Urological Society, South Central Section of American Urologic Association, and The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
