Juan Montoya, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Juan Montoya, M.D., received a B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin before obtaining his medical doctorate from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Following graduation, he completed an internship in general surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Montoya then completed his urology training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/ Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Prior to joining TUCC, Dr. Montoya practiced at Colorado Urology Associates for five years. He is a member of the American Urologic Association, Endourological Society, South Central Section of American Urologic Association, Denver Medical Society, Arapahoe Medical Society, Rocky Mountain Urologic Society and the Minimally Invasive Robotic Association (MIRA).
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Montoya specializes in laparoscopic and robotic surgery (including daVinci prostatectomy), stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and genitourinary cancer.
