Team Registration

Team up with your family, friends, co-workers, teammates and others to create your Blue Shoe Run team! A minimum of 10 people make up a team. Prizes will be distributed to the largest and most spirited Blue Shoe Run teams on race day.

Team Captains

  1. Select your age range before selecting Team Captain as a participant type. Then click next.
  2. If you are going to serve as a team captain, enter your team name in the Team Registration section.
  3. Forward the invitation to The Blue Shoe Run to your family, friends, co-workers, teammates and others and encourage them to join your team.
  4. Complete your registration for the 5K or 1.5-mile family walk as an individual.
  5. Please note: Team captains will receive automatic email notifications as team members sign up. It is important to know who is on your team so that you can communicate details for race day.

Note: Team registration closes on Friday, August 31, 2012. No exceptions will be made. After August 31st, participants may register as individuals and run/walk with their team on September 8th.

  1. Select your age range in the participant type form field and then click next.
  2. Within Team Selection, click on the Select Your Team button. Scroll down the list to find your team and then click on the team name. Then, click on the link to find your team captain’s email address. You must click on this link and enter the appropriate email address in the Team Captain Email Address form field in order to register for your team. Do not click on the email address in the PDF. Either copy and paste it into the form field or type it in directly. This action will send an automatic email notification to your team captain. If your team is not listed, please contact your team captain directly for more information.
  3. Once your team has been selected, complete your individual registration for The Blue Shoe Run. Your team captain will be in contact with you prior to race day regarding fundraising, a meeting spot for race day and post-race activities.
  4. If you want to encourage others to join your team, be sure to mention the name of your team in the invitation email message area.

Team Packet Pick Up
There are two options for team packet pick up:

  • Team Captain: Captain will pick up team members’ race packets prior to race day during the designated packet pick up times.
  • Race Day: Team members can choose to pick up their packet on race day.

Team packet pick up will take place Wednesday, September 5th – Friday, September 7th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at TUCC. An email reminder will be sent the week before team packet pick up opens.
