Foundation Programs

TUCC Foundation supports and contributes in the following five overarching areas:

  • COLLABORATION: TUCC Foundation fosters collaborative relationships among community clinics, educational support groups and social services agencies to provide assistance to those who would not otherwise receive necessary urologic care.
  • FAMILY: TUCC Foundation supports TUCC employees through personal hardship.
  • COMMUNITY: TUCC Foundation contributes to the needs of our local community.
  • EDUCATION: TUCC Foundation develops comprehensive educational initiatives to raise awareness of urologic conditions, support urology-based research and provide assistance to those entering the health care field.
  • RESEARCH: TUCC Foundation makes contributions to medical and urologic specific research that improves urologic cancer and non-cancer diagnoses, standards of care and treatments.

With continued funding for research and education, TUCC Foundation can build a coalition dedicated to raising awareness of urologic diseases and find ways to improve cure rates. Below is a brief description of five TUCC Foundation funds to which you can make a donation. Patient Assistance Fund

The Patient Assistance Fund provides monetary assistance to families in need that include one or more members who have been diagnosed with a urologic condition. These individuals must be receiving treatment for that condition in Colorado. This fund assists patients in meeting their critical, non-medical financial needs such as rent, home heating bills, car payments, etc.

Employee Emergency Fund

TUCC Foundation’s Employee Emergency Fund provides assistance to TUCC employees who have experienced a catastrophic event or an unexpected emergency hardship. This fund is directly financed by TUCC and no funds donated to TUCC Foundation by the general public are allocated to it.

Community Outreach Fund

Through the Community Outreach Fund, TUCC Foundation makes needed contributions to our community and other domestic and foreign charitable organizations. This fund also includes the TUCC Foundation Medical Education Scholarship Program, which provides monetary assistance to individuals looking to enter the medical field or further their medical education.

Educational Outreach Fund

TUCC Foundation is continuing a rich tradition of hosting educational urologic programs and screenings for thousands of Coloradans. These events range from prostate cancer screenings to educational seminars on the dos and don’ts of nutrition and supplements.

The Educational Outreach Fund allows TUCC Foundation to promote and facilitate educational programs that increase awareness of urologic conditions. Through this fund, TUCC Foundation raises awareness of the importance of annual screenings and healthy lifestyles so that urologic diseases can be prevented.

Research Fund

The Research Fund makes contributions to support urologic specific research that improves urologic cancer and non-cancer diagnoses, standards of care and treatments.
